P184 DISCOVERY 184 22/02/94 20:54:41     VACUUM SUPPORTS ROOFS Due to lack of the wooden and metalic supports in the mines, Mr. Tjrekhin I., the engineer from Baku, suggests that vacuum should be employed for this pur- pose. The point of the method is: a stable elastic balloon,filled with the sand, is to be placed under the excavation roof.
